Luciana was raised to be a child in Rome by her parents - Luciana's dad was Manlio Paoluzzi an Italian military officer. Her mother was Maria Rota Paoluzzi who was the one of Benito's lovers. There's no record of her siblings. Luciana attended the local high school, and after graduating in 1955 was a student at the Naval Engineering department of the Scientific Academy of Milan. It was her only female in the class. Her modeling career began after two years. However, this transformed when she was offered her first role in acting by accident when she visited her father's Rome friend. It was a two-line role in Three Coins in the Fountain. Brett Halsey, an actor himself, was her first wife. After their wedding in 1960, they made a movie together called Return to the Peyton Palace. They had one son, named Charles born on 13 June 1961 but divorced a year after his birth and Luciana received custody. Luciana who was a performer and producer was a part of Tony Athony's band from 1962 until 1970. Tony Athony had been inspired by Luciana's performance on Green Slime.
